Kelly Tshibaka statement on President Biden's 1-year anniversary

Alaska Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka today issued the following statement regarding President Joe Biden’s first year in office:

“As a candidate, President Ronald Reagan famously asked Americans if they were better off than they were when Jimmy Carter was elected. Substitute Joe Biden’s name for Carter, and the answer is again a resounding ‘NO!’

“One year into Biden’s term, Alaskans are feeling the crushing weight of inflation and his all-out war on our jobs with his energy-annihilating agenda. The COVID pandemic is worse than ever, our southern border with Mexico has effectively been erased, American service members lost their lives as Biden gave the Taliban control over Afghanistan along with American military equipment, and the United States is more deeply divided.

“Biden has earned the distinction of being the worst president in history, and Sen. Lisa Murkowski has stood shoulder to shoulder with him every step of the way. We need a senator who will block the disastrous Biden administration, not buddy up to him and enable his Alaska-destroying policies.

“When I’m Alaska’s next senator, I will defend Alaskans, not pander to the Washington, D.C. insiders and elitists.”
